Mountainhead
Just when I thought I couldn’t loathe broligarchs more… Jesse Armstrong of Succession made Mountainhead, and while I enjoyed Succession way more, here once again his sharp writing exposes the soft underbelly of the ultra-rich in a really satisfying way.
But in the end, it’s watching four billionaire man-boys delude themselves about how important they are (as they fight deep personal insecurities), while the world crumbles around them due to the tech they profited from. Bit too real to be funny.
