Girl Tales
If you’ve got a kid who loves stories in your life: the Girl Tales podcast is for you. Each episode is a story with a girl as the main character, and no one is waiting for a prince to kiss her. My kid can’t get enough of us reading to her and when I am just too tired at bedtime or we’ve got a car ride, we put on one of these and they are reliably delightful.
Kid & I got to go to a live Girl Tales event a few weeks ago and meet the people who make the show. They led a writing workshop exercise where we co-wrote a story with the whole group of attendees. One of the highlights of 2025 so far.
