We Can Do Hard Things: The Tour
Got to take my own sister to the opening night of the We Can Do Hard Things live tour here in New York City, to watch Glennon and Abby get cozy on a couch and chat with their sister Amanda in person. It was a true family meeting, with excellent podsquad vibes.
I wrote down two things in my notes on the subway ride home. First, a peak Glennon line:
Fascism plus menopause has been a real pleasure cruise
Second, Amanda’s response to an audience member who is about to have a baby and asked what they should know about parenting:
Your kids break you just the way you need to be broken
Much-needed food for the soul.
