Couples Therapy
I will never cease to be amazed at these couples’ willingness to discuss their most personal individual and relationship issues in this doc. Dr. Orna is my heroine in her ability to listen and analyze what’s happening. Just caught the latest season 4, part 2. (Why do they split seasons like this?) While this particular set of couples didn’t capture me quite the way some in past seasons have, as usual I could not look away from the fascinating dynamics of gender, disability, race, class, monogamy/polyamory, kids, trauma, and childhood experiences play out so raw on screen.
I hug my wife a lot more when I watch this show.
