Dickinson

Dickinson

Earlier this year I got to visit the Emily Dickinson Museum in Amherst, the house where the poet lived most of her life. They restored it to what it looked like during her lifetime with the help of Apple TV, who donated several pieces of furniture and other props from the set of its show, Dickinson–which I then had to see.

This modern interpretation of Dickinson’s life and loves and writing is sweet, irreverent, absurd, entertaining, and totally unrealistic. I happily binged all three seasons.
