Survival of the Thickest
Smart, fun comedy about single life in New York City kept me well entertained on the treadmill and stationary bike (and then I was into it so during downtime, too). Michelle Buteau is fantastic as the protagonist Mavis, a gorgeous plus-size celebrity stylist committed to helping all the “fatty baddies” and “oddy bodies” feel good about themselves. Smart writing, characters from all walks of life, and authentic NYC vibes.
